Hi There My PC setup has two drives: a 500 GB M.2 for system, apps and games, and a Seagate BarraCuda 2TB. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800X. I have a fast internet connection of 1000 Mb/s and use a Cat 6 Ethernet cable. The issue is that when downloading games on my HDD via Steam the speed drops very low and sometimes stops completely as shown in the attached picture. Also, Task Manager shows full usage on the HDD, but when I download games on my SSD there’s no slowdown and speeds reach around 100 MB/s. I understand SSDs are faster and more reliable than HDDs, but I’m unsure if this is normal since my old PC with similar storage didn’t have this problem. Could anyone assist me with this?
