I just want to express my strong support for msrp. My nearby Microcenter is advertising listings in the 900-1000 range. It looks like getting the 7900 XTX on sale for $800 last month was a smart decision.

Wow! That's quite a change. It's like the Michael here is being completely rewritten! The MSRP is now just a placeholder.

Honestly, Nvidia will continue adjusting its targets until the 8050 or whatever comes next is 600 lol.

MSRP for most cards is around 899 or 999, and there weren't many 750 cards available. The 7900XTX for 800 offers good value with plenty of VRAM, though it's no longer in stock. I managed to get a 5070TI, but it was nearly 1100 including taxes... (not so lucky). It's pretty crazy getting a lower-end card and not beating the 4080S on all benchmarks, which is disappointing.

I'm being truthful, the 4070 Ti Super from the previous generation is increasing in price rather than decreasing. At least in the UK.

the cards have begun rising because of limited availability. (similar to vehicles/properties). we're missing supply and need more demand.

I noticed a video suggesting $650 for the 9070xt. If that amount matches the 5070ti and they truly have stock available at MSRP, given the challenges in launching Nvidia’s 50 series, AMD might end up winning.
