I get the fundamentals of PSUs such as wattage and 80+ standards, but I'm still unclear about single-rail versus multi-rail configurations and their significance, as well as the specific roles each rail plays. Could you provide more details or clarification on this?

Does Google not function for you? 🤔 You can begin here; TH article: Twenty-four pages of excellent content about PSUs, authored by Aris Mpitziopoulos, a top PSU specialist. 👍

Thank you, I could have relied on Google, but I understand that a lot of online information can be inconsistent or even incorrect. I rely more on most users here than on some random article on the web.

I won't be able to read the whole article at once since it's too long and I lack concentration.

Well, i trust what PSU experts are saying.
Did link Aris'es article above, here's what Jon Gerow (jonnyguru) is talking about single- vs multiple-rail PSUs;

A bit old video, from 8 years ago. More modern one would be when Steve Burke visited Jon Gerow 5 years ago:
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLWFJ91gKSo
And Steve visited Jon last year as well:

Part 2:

That is you problem. You asked for info, i provided. Up to you if you're bothered to read/learn about PSUs or not.
But based on what you're currently running (your Tt Smart unit), you should pay attention.

I will read it slowly, piece by piece. I completely understand the need to focus due to my power supply issue. Thank you for the information.
