I explored streaming on Twitch TV and have some thoughts. Here are my questions and ideas—feel free to share your views. Your current setup includes MSI Z170A, Intel i7 6700K, and a solid gaming rig. Would you be able to run CSGO or Rocket League on one PC while streaming? Regarding internet speed, a connection of 8-10 Mb/s should suffice for HD gameplay. A second monitor might not greatly enhance your experience unless you need more screen space, but it could improve flexibility. Using a phone for chat is fine if your PC feels sluggish.

For 3 another screen would assist a bit since you can review your conversation and observe what's happening. Your computer appears to be okay.

The upload speed is important. You just need one monitor if you have good admins, otherwise you could use a phone or laptop.

It looks like 1. Probably 2. That seems fine. 3. You should have a second monitor so your game stays open on one screen while you can chat, Skype, Teamspeak, etc., on another.

I played and watched videos on my i3 using a 5.5Mb connection. Having a second screen really helps with streaming and is useful for all tasks. You can easily stream and play GTA V on a 6700k.

I think you can broadcast to Twitch with Obs Studio and set up Obs to leverage the ShadowPlay function for your 970, which should likely simplify things on your machine.

The specifications work well for 720p in most games. What's your upload?
