I'm halfway through the game and they seem determined to keep going. My friend has played 100 hours without winning. I'm worried about my own performance, especially since this game is really engaging. I usually don't finish games easily, but I think I can. It's one of the best Metal Gear experiences in terms of gameplay. While the storytelling isn't perfect, listening to the tapes reveals a lot of depth. They made it thoughtful for newcomers. Great work by Konami—hope this is the final time I mention it like this.
The only drawback I noticed is the mandatory online feature—it prevented me from progressing past the FOB missions, forcing me to press ALT F4 just to stop the game. Now it won’t let me begin in offline mode and keeps redirecting me back to the same mission. It’s frustrating when developers make such poor choices
Things will improve. With your friends by your side and new weapons, the infiltration becomes much more enjoyable. However, they keep recycling locations over and over again. That's not good...
If you're not a MGS enthusiast, it's tough to become engaged right away. Since I really love MGS, I was captivated from the very first scene. I share that feeling—if the game doesn't feel right from the start, it's unlikely I'd stick around.
The first hour was really enjoyable, but once I reached the base and went on a mission, I logged off and haven't played the game in three days. I don't like open-world games unless they're part of an MMO, but I'll try to play it for the story because I'm a big fan.
Began the project over the weekend and spent roughly 50 hours across Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Believed I reached Mission 19. This game offers an incredible variety of choices and unpredictable outcomes—side quests or open exploration keep things fresh for me since there are still countless ways to approach it. I’ve been playing with a high intensity lately, which adds to the excitement. Completing missions without any alerts using only explosives is a unique and enjoyable method.
