Your setup is compatible with the Ryzen 7 3700X. Updating the BIOS should allow it to run at full performance. No need for a new motherboard unless you want future-proofing.

Not used to this VMR solution yet, but the beta version should work with Zen 2 and handle an 8-core processor. (Maybe I'm mistaken about the VMR.) Updated July 6, 2020 by TofuHaroto
