Checking out the setup of my new PC, I’m curious if I can swap my existing M.2 SSD drive into the new one without any issues, especially after the latest Windows updates.

It might not cause any issues, but it's best to fully reinstall Windows after using an old SSD in a new machine. This ensures all existing data is cleared, as every system is unique. During installation, Windows adjusts to the specific hardware it encounters. Even if you remove old drivers and install new ones, some components may still function properly without reinstalling. However, doing a full reinstall helps prevent problems like lag, delays, or strange behavior that could stem from compatibility issues.

Yes, you can install a new SSD using a USB drive during a clean installation. After setting up the PC, you can replace the old drive with the new one and configure it to become the C drive at startup.

The license details are hidden, I don’t see the product key. Using the shoe product key via CMD didn’t trigger it, so it seems the installation isn’t tied to a specific license.
