The updated version is increasing CPU usage, but I'm unsure how to handle it. A file called advancedcpu.dll is already present, yet the temperature remains high at 800000.

It seems you're considering alternative methods, but I haven't personally tested them. Also, without Rainmeter, it's hard to proceed further.
