You can run most games on the Shield without them on GFE, though you'll need to adjust the settings yourself.

I noticed the previous attempt loaded but kept failing, and they resolved it. Likely the issue was fixed.

You can run most games on a Shield, with the exception of Arma. I'm not claiming it's terrible, but it won't perform well on a high frame rate.

It depends on the game I purchased; it was an Android TV system that started crashing at first. After that, it became a nearly unused device once I set up an HTPC.

It was the first or second generation. My first-gen version had problems, but they were resolved after some updates to the GFE.
