Discussion about MSi B450 Tomahawk Max ATX issues
I'm considering replacing my old i7 4770k with a Ryzen 3900x. I'm planning to upgrade to a more reliable setup and won’t have to worry for years. Regarding the board you mentioned, will it be a good investment and should I proceed? Or should I opt for an x570 board instead? I'm looking for something affordable yet durable.
It will work just fine, if you can spend 70 more bucks then get the Asus TUF gaming x570 plus. this is a more premium board with features like pcie gen 4, etc. The max will work just fine, and it doesn't need a bios update unlike most b450 boards.
Consider a TUF X570 for the 3900X. It should easily manage a 3950X and probably Ryzen 4000 as well.
Thanks a lot for getting back to me about this. The Tuf looks good in my opinion.
