Hello, I'm using an RTX 4060 as my main GPU and an RX 570 as a secondary one. The HDMI is connected to the AMD GPU so I can run LSFG through it, while I render games on the Nvidia GPU. Everything functions properly, but some titles still won't launch on the Nvidia GPU even after changing settings in Windows or the Nvidia control panel. The only solution I've tried is switching the HDMI back to the Nvidia GPU and disabling the AMD one via Device Manager, but that ruins the purpose of using LSFG. Frequently moving the HDMI on and off depending on the game is also very annoying. Can someone suggest a way to force these games to use a specific GPU? They seem to ignore the system settings for this reason.

Based on the Windows version you're using, you can assign games to the GPU you're actually using via the Graphics Settings in Windows Settings. This is especially important for laptops, as some systems use Nvidia Optimus to prioritize energy efficiency over performance. You're essentially using EMA or Explicit Multi-Adapter, which is what you're doing. Running two cards together works fine, and I've also tested it with two cards of the same name without issues. However, I recommend arranging them according to their efficiency so you don't lose performance. For more details, check out the EMA concept here:

I'm not focused on executing EMA. Instead, I'm setting up the game on my primary GPU (RTX 4060) and handling frame generation using the secondary GPU (RX 570) via the Lossless Scaling tool. The goal is to balance performance so that while one GPU handles rendering, the other manages frames, maintaining a stable base framerate and reducing resource strain. This approach helps avoid performance drops and input delays, especially on lower to mid-range systems.

This method works well when games are incompatible with the RTX 4060 and automatically switch to the RX 570 after assigning the GPU through Windows settings.

My setup includes a single HDMI port, which limits my ability to connect both GPUs unless I obtain an alternative cable type like DVI or VGA.

Hello so I am running my RTX 4060 as my main GPU and RX 570 as my secondary. For LSFG to work I have to connect the HDMI to the secondary GPU (RX 570) and force games to run on the main GPU (RTX 4060) through Windows settings by specifying preferred GPU (System > Display > Graphics). Most games work fine, but some games ignore the specified GPU in WIndows settings and default to whichever GPU the HDMI cable is connected to.
Is there any way to force these games to render on a specified GPU? I tried to do it through each GPU's settings panel too but to no avail.

Back in January, several mentions of this subject appeared. Have you checked those sources?
