Discussion about dual boot setup

Hello! I’m setting up a dual-boot system with two SSDs and one HDD for storage. One SSD runs Windows 7 Pro, the other Windows 8.1 Pro. I’ll keep Windows 7 isolated from Windows 8.1 and its files, and I also want to separate the third HDD from the main OS. I’m looking for a method that doesn’t require constant manual changes in BIOS to switch between operating systems. This is important because I’ll be working remotely with my company in two weeks and need clear separation between work and personal use.

You're asking about keeping things separate for security reasons. It makes sense to disable the drives in the BIOS rather than depending on external software that may not be reliable.

They should have access if I run into any technical problems with their software. As a beginner, I haven’t been given my own laptop or computer yet.

Sure, it would be better to turn them off in the BIOS settings. Could you tell me if your motherboard uses a UEFI BIOS?
