Holding off on a Z590, I'm still trying to figure out the best RAM choice. Lots of info out there, making it a bit confusing. Should I go with DDR4 4000 CAS 18 or 19, or maybe DDR4 3600 CAS 14 or 16?

A lot of numbers come up since cas speeds aren't always consistent. For instance, a 6600 mhz cl40 with DDR5 is quicker than a 5600 mhz cl24.

Generally, higher casings tend to be more affordable. For a DDR4 board, B-Die seems optimal. Your 3200C14 should handle 4000C14 quite well—just increase the voltage. Some people claim cas isn't crucial, but it definitely does matter.
