I forgot to mention—I have a Ryzen 3600, a motherboard from Gigabyte B450 DS3H, and 16GB of 3200MHz RAM. Thanks for the help; I’m planning to give it a try. Still, my main question is why overclocking with Ryzen Master to 4.2GHz works smoothly, while undervolting seems tricky without any issues. I can’t even adjust it to 4.0GHz without raising the voltage.

It's unclear what's happening, but your ideas might be useful. There could be several reasons, and it might be helpful to stabilize the BIOS.

It's been understood that using Ryzen Master to overclock isn't unusual for the system. If I attempted an overclock on my old 2600X through Ryzen Master, I'd know it would fail if done via BIOS, but it functions somehow. Still, it isn't very reliable. Therefore, I don't recommend it.

I noticed my bios include an AMD Manual Overclock feature. Has anyone used it? How does it differ from standard overclocking? It looks simpler since you can directly adjust the voltage instead of using incremental steps.

Noted, the configurations might remain after a clear CMOS reset. For consistency, adjusting LLC parameters seems effective—medium or medium-high settings often work well.

You definitely need XMP or manual OC, which is why I mentioned re-enabling it after making changes. I prefer focusing on one overclock at a time (either CPU or RAM). Once both are stable on their own, I save the changes and restart to confirm. After that, I apply the second set of OC settings, save again, and restart. Working on both overclocks simultaneously can create conflicts, and it’s hard to pinpoint the problem if something goes wrong.
