New Windows 11 Pro installation with all updates and drivers updated. z690 Asrock PG Velocita MB, CPU i7 14700k, 64gb DDR5 RAM, 4070ti Super and two 4tb SN850x WD Gen 4 disks set up in RAID 1. After several tests using Crystal DiskMark 1gib and 5gib, my observations are these speeds appear lower than expected. The bottom two random tests seem slower than anticipated. Could someone more experienced confirm if these results are accurate or if something went wrong? Thanks! SEQ1M (Q8T1) Read: 12094.54 MB/s Write: 6199.01 MB/s SEQ1M (Q1T1) Read: 4597.62 MB/s Write: 5190.38 MB/s RND4K (Q32T1) Read: 965.34 MB/s Write: 708.64 MB/s RND4K (Q1T1) Read: 75.37 MB/s Write: 123.76 MB/s

These are unusual. Your initial sequence should match the second one, and I was hoping for speeds near 7k as advertised. Look at your motherboard's guide to confirm the M.2 models you're using; it seems one is Gen 3, which might be restricting performance. It doesn't seem to be RAID-related, because the drive speeds should be consistent with its capabilities, not this confusing situation.

I verified everything is connected to the right ports—M2_1 and M2_3—and reran the test multiple times, obtaining results very close to what was previously seen. I kept all settings unchanged in Diskmark, sticking with the default version 8.0.6 x64.
