Discussing wireless adaptors
No one is currently using a BrosTrend wireless adaptor. Deciding between the AC650 with 1000 down or a better adapter depends on your needs. Consider whether the speed meets your internet requirements without overspending.
Seeking a USB adapter or a PCIe one? The latter generally offer superior performance and reach. Regarding your internet link: what bandwidth are you investing in, and what speeds can your access point manage? Purchasing the quickest adapter available won't help if the access point isn't capable. A top-tier WiFi adapter fitting in a PCIe slot—such as the Intel AX200NGW with a M.2 → PCIe adapter—is ideal, for example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-AX200NGW-...4680891767
Sorry, I need to be clearer—USB is the right choice. I can’t use a PCIe adapter because I don’t have one, and I’ll have to look at my motherboard. I’m currently on a 5G wireless connection, which gives me about 380 Mbps with multiple devices connected. (I’m paying more for that, but it’s wireless, so I expect some variability, plus many things are pulling bandwidth.)
