I changed my Surface Pro from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 recently. My user folders were on the D drive in Windows 8.1. After upgrading, they either went back to the default spot or moved elsewhere. A new user name folder was created with documents, music, photos, etc. I’m looking for a way to bring these files back to their original locations on the D drive so I can organize them exactly where I want. Or is there a simpler method to move everything into new folders like Documents, Photos, etc.?

In the default 'Quick Access' sections of 'This PC' (press Win+E), you can click right-click on an item like Documents, select Properties, and set the desired location under the Location tab.
