Others have mentioned this before, even Ubisoft has acknowledged it. The situation with sniper elite 3 keys is real—developers removed 7000 based on theft claims. TotalBiscuit shared videos explaining the details. Credit card fraud can also fund game purchases and resell them profitably. It’s a straightforward process.

I reached out to PayPal regarding the problem because that's the platform I used to pay for G2A when I purchased Far Cry 4. They recently sent me a fresh activation key. I'm unsure whether using a new key will resolve the issue, as it might be blocked anyway. I'm planning to wait and observe any official response from Ubisoft before attempting to use the key again.

The post was removed because it contained information about illegal game keys being deleted from Uplay.

How many game shops do you believe take stolen games and then resell them? I think a significant number do. Many people are unaware that their games were taken without their knowledge. I don’t think anyone is aware if the keys are actually stolen. Ubisoft’s response about not being a proper reseller is enough to justify banning them. Their real motive seems to be disliking games sold cheaply, which explains their reaction when considering selling on Steam.

The issue is that purchases from G2A often involve uncertain sellers, and keys may be sold using illegitimate methods such as stolen credit card information.

unless they verify my purchase came from a stolen key, they have no basis to take it away

Ubisoft must find a method to identify which keys are compromised and inform those impacted. Their approach was ineffective, and they should focus on keys that might have been stolen.

I still don’t understand how you could purchase thousands of keys using credit cards unless you somehow obtained them or there’s an entire system focused on stealing cards for key sales. Most likely, they’ll offer a refund if you reach out to support. After my FC4 season pass disappeared recently, I reached out to Ubi support and here’s what they advised if you really want to keep the game: don’t contact them.
