Discussing the upgrade to a RAM module.
Hello, I currently have a 2666mhz 1x8GB RAM system with an 18GB SSD. I'm looking for a compatible replacement and have discovered a HyperX model. The new unit matches the voltage, timing, and frequency—both 8GB and 16GB options are available. The website doesn't list all the details, but it mentions the HyperX supports 16GB. Will this work with my TUF B360 gaming motherboard? I haven't found another suitable option, so I'm hoping it will be stable. I plan to use stock settings and just hope everything lines up. Any advice or additional info would be appreciated!
This should work fine, since Intel CPUs have become accustomed to unusual configurations over the past few years.
Search for the part number online; you should see someone sharing theirs. Matching everything isn't crucial, particularly if you're ordering in stock. It would be nice to have a matching chipset though.
