Discussing the issues with npsvtrig and filecrypt crashes.
So after numerous tests and my earlier discussion going quiet, I now have more details about the problem. I’m experiencing a system issue where opening a game on NPSVTRIG and FileCrypt triggers a critical kernel power event 41. I think this might be related to an HP update, as my HP PC runs the Omen OS. I reinstalled Windows before downloading any updates, and after restarting and applying the update, the game worked fine. However, when I tried again, it crashed. I’m certain it’s not hardware-related because I was able to render in both GPU and CPU at full capacity without issues. I’ve reinstalled Windows many times, updated the BIOS, and run every disk health command in the manual—still nothing helps. I’m concerned it could be a driver problem with HP, especially since I keep having to download updates even after fresh installs. This has been happening on my PC model since December 2021, and I’m worried it might persist. I’ve tried a Windows 10 bloatware tool without success, and temporarily paused some HP services didn’t resolve the crashes. If anyone has advice, please share it!
