Hey everyone! Here’s a quick rundown of my new server setup: AMD Ryzen 7900X with AsRock b650M PG Riptide, 64 GB F5-6000J3040G32GX2 RAM (compatible with the board), a couple of older SSDs connected via SATA. The be quiet! cooling unit is a Pure Loop 240mm water cooler, but it’s running at full power without any GPU. The PSU is a 650W straight power unit.

The issue is that both the CPU and RAM LEDs are red on the motherboard. I’ve tried several fixes: checking connections, re-seating the CPU, adjusting RAM placement according to the manual (A2 and B2), and even giving it a bit more time. All parts are new—no used stuff here.

What’s odd is that both components still show red LEDs despite being functional. I’m hoping this might be normal for this model. P.S. The manual says it can take up to 2:30 minutes to post the first time, but I waited about 10 minutes without any success.

Are your front header connectors (power switch, power LED, and another I’m not sure about) correctly placed in the same header slot? They should match a 10-1 layout. Also, confirm your power switch is activated.

I doubt my motherboard can handle it without posting. But if you let me know I can, I’ll take it seriously right away.

Have you checked each RAM module in separate slots? How did you confirm the CPU? Do you have another device you could use for the RAM and motherboard as well? Sometimes items arrive damaged, even if they look new. It seems your motherboard might be faulty. You can also attempt to reset the CMOS just in case it helps.

All front panel connections look good. The power switch is clearly active and fans are running. The problem lies with the server not uploading content.

You noticed some missing details in the manual—specifically about the cables for the CPU and pump. That’s frustrating. I’ll consider swapping them out before trying a BIOS update.

The image shows the power connectors for the CPU, but also verify them thoroughly
