It seems you're wondering about the pump's functionality and sound. Have you verified if the pump operates normally and produces an expected noise?

Personally, 70 to 78 degrees Celsius won’t cause stuttering or thermal throttling; it’s likely the game needs more CPU power or the game is just too demanding overall. The 6700 is a 4C8T CPU, and games have evolved since then, which could be a factor. Also, running many background programs or using Windows 11 might be contributing. Before thinking about overclocking, check if it’s the right game—whether single-threaded or multi-threaded—it affects performance on this chipset.

It's also crashing on Chrome, and I've checked the RAM.

Thermal paste can lose moisture and disrupt heat transfer, making the issue worse. Adjusting other components won’t fix it. We also need to acknowledge that his 6700k model is quite outdated.

It shows the system was stable and efficient, which is normal for older hardware.

Intel CPUs typically fail at temperatures above 82°C, varying based on the BIOS and processor architecture.

It began to idle at 78°C, but why is it only 65% idle?

It's generally fine for a 70°C idle on an older CPU with AIO cooling, but monitor closely to ensure it stays within safe limits.
