I’m looking into whether a Ryzen 2200G with integrated graphics can support streaming on Twitch. I’m on a limited budget and don’t have the funds for a dedicated graphics card. Also, I’m just starting out with this stuff, so I’d really appreciate your guidance. Thanks!

I'm not sure about specific games, but I can play many types! What kind of games do you enjoy?

Which titles are available? The visuals on that chip aren’t great, let alone suitable for streaming. Consider saving a little more.

I really doubt you could enjoy streaming, gaming, or any other experience with this setup. The 2200G features a quad-core processor without hyperthreading, offering performance comparable to an i3. Its integrated graphics match those of a GT 1030, which isn't particularly strong. Plus, being an AMD chip means you won't have access to hardware encoders like NVENC found in Nvidia cards.

I agree, I'll purchase it soon and enjoy games such as Fortnite, GTA V, and PUBG (50-50).

You can use AMF (AMD Media Framework) to encode the video on your Ryzen 2200G without using your CPU for processing, just encoding the audio. OBS Studio is compatible with AMF. The graphics in the 2200G are comparable to GT 1030 in terms of performance, though the GT 1030 doesn’t have hardware encoders while AMD chips do. The 2400G would offer better value, improved graphics, and overall performance. It should handle Fortnite, GTA 5, and PUBG smoothly at 720p or similar.

GTA V and PUBG face challenges maintaining around 40-60 FPS when performance is low on 1080p. It’s best to consider a GPU upgrade before starting streaming or demanding games.

He shared a person who makes tailored computers and claims he can assemble one for less than 31 thousand INR. The specs mentioned include MSI Mobo 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and a Ryzen 2200G processor.

Well this doesn't really give much insight. I can design such a setup too, though it won't be ideal. Just the CPU isn't the whole picture. With chips that have built-in graphics like the AMD 2200G, memory speed is crucial—it can boost performance by up to 10% or more if you use RAM that's 2933 MHz or higher instead of lower speeds. You might also consider different motherboards... for instance, a budget board with the A320 chipset would be cheapest, but it won't support overclocking. If you opt for a slightly pricier model with the B350 chipset, you can fine-tune both CPU and graphics performance a bit more, which helps games run better.

For example, if you look around locally, your 31k INR is roughly equivalent to 1810 RON. You could purchase these components for under 1550 RON (about 27k INR). You could even go lower by getting a poor-quality case with an integrated power supply, since the system won't exceed 150 watts and a weak PSU would only last a few months. So you might sell it and move on.

But keep in mind, using an A320 chipset is a bad choice because it doesn’t allow overclocking. The memory speed also matters—using slower RAM than 2400 MHz can limit performance. Also, having just one memory stick instead of two in dual-channel mode hurts things, though A320 boards only support up to two sticks, so you could leave one unused until you decide to upgrade later.
