I've been enjoying home streaming for months without issues, but recently I downloaded WWE 2K17 and it's not working properly. The video plays fine, but the controls don't function on my PC. They only respond on the host machine, which ruins the whole experience. Anyone have suggestions for a solution or an alternative to using Steam in home streaming?

Basically, the main option I had in mind was using NVIDIA's Shields technology, but it seems tricky to make the client act like a shield device. Unfortunately, the experience isn't very smooth because the controls don't work well. Just a big "not recommended" note on that setup.

Consider moonlight as an alternative option.

It's a controller, specifically a PS3 controller, running as an Xbox 360 emulation on a SCP server.

This seems to be your issue. It’s not about the data coming in, but about the system misinterpreting the input device. Moonlight really has some problems.
