I was experimenting with my character in Planetside 2 while our commander mentioned a game called Star Citizen that offers referral codes for free items. He suggested creating a character, noting the game costs around 45 dollars, which makes me question whether I should accept such offers. He compared it to Planetside 2, though I haven’t seen any samples yet. It does spark my interest since I believe Planetside 2 had great potential that wasn’t fully realized. This game seems to have received significant funding for its development. Anyone plays Star Citizen? What are your thoughts?

Someone who isn't into SC but really cares about it suggests waiting a bit longer before investing. It might be released eventually, but its progress has been quite rocky.

If you're looking for a tough space simulator, Elite Dangerous might be worth checking out. Star Citizen could provide more later, though it's still not fully developed. Most of the big money options seem unrealistic. They likely have more to offer than they can deliver, which is why progress has been slow.
