Hi, I'm curious about Spellforce 3. Is it generally a solid RTS game? As someone who enjoys RTS titles, I'm seeking fresh experiences. Some reviews praise its RPG aspects and the clips on YouTube highlight its unique features. It seems to offer something distinct in the genre. Would it still be enjoyable without the RPG elements? Are there other RTS games you'd recommend as alternatives? With Steam offering significant discounts, now is the time to decide.

Spellforce 3: Versus Edition is available for free. It's a turn-based strategy game without role-playing components. I found it enjoyable for some time.

Sure, I tried a little of the first game. The Rpg aspects mainly involved some character interaction in cutscenes and deciding which bonus items your character had. It felt a bit similar to the heroes in Warcraft 3. However, it's probably been about 15 to 20 years since I played it, so please consider my answer with caution. Also, it wasn't Spellforce 3, but something else.
