Discussing RAM speed problems.

I checked Task Manager while trying to view performance graphs during program execution and saw my RAM's speed at just 1500MHz. I opened BIOS and confirmed it's set to 3000MHz. I assumed the issue was in the reporting, but even CPU-Z displayed the same number. My system has a Ryzen 3 2200G (non-OC) with a Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM (2x8GB, originally 3000MHz). The motherboard model is Asus Prime B450-PLUS.

DDR4 supports double data rate, which means DDR4-3000 operates at 1500MHz or 3000 MT/s.

If I increased the RAM speed to 3200MHz, Windows would show 1600MHz, equating to 3200MT/s.
