It functions well, supports older titles as well as certain browser games. It works on windowed displays without noticeable FPS drops.

Sure, Dxtory doesn't capture any audio, even though I've tested it with all sound sources. OBS works well, but both OBS and Dxtory are generating files in real time. If you only have an i3/fx6300, I wouldn't strongly suggest it. You might want to try NV Shadowplay instead.

It never gets turned off. The FPS counter stays active and the toggle switches to the left Ctrl button. It works flawlessly for me and is highly dependable. When set to record desktop, it captures nearly everything displayed on your screen.

The performance drop differs each game, but usually manual recording has almost no effect. Shadow recording tends to reduce frames, though I rarely rely on it. Keep in mind I'm running a decent system and pushing games to their limits, so my GTX 770 isn't paying much attention elsewhere.
