Initially I had this feature enabled, but with Flight Simulator 2020 I thought a little extra boost might help. I'm using a Ryzen 5 2600X without it. When it's off, the CPU reaches up to 4.2GHz. Under load it stays around 1.375V and drops to about 80°C. The stock cooler works fine. With Game Boost on, voltage sits between 1.290–1.3V, and it now tops out at roughly 60°C. I thought the boost would act like an auto overclock, but it seems to have done the opposite—possibly an optimization I don’t understand. Anyone know what’s going on?
