I'm exploring ways to upgrade my internet connection while relocating my equipment. I currently have an Ethernet cable extending from my bedroom to the basement where the router is located, but it runs straight across the floor. Since running it along the ceiling isn't an option, I'm considering using a second router in bridge mode connected to the Ethernet cable, then linking it wirelessly to my primary router. Would this setup work without problems?

Consider using a computer to connect the router with Ethernet, then link the bridge to the main router in the basement via Wi-Fi. This setup avoids the limitations of WiFi bridging, which reduces bandwidth significantly.
