Hello! I chose to push my q6600 to higher speeds, starting at 3.0 ghz with a 9x333 multiplier and 1.3v voltage. The idle temperatures came down to 38°C, and during the stress test it reached 68°C. After this, cpuz and my motherboard are now showing my CPU as q6700.

I would perform a stress test lasting a minimum of 12 hours, with 24 being optimal to determine stability or failure points.

I would perform a stress test for at least 12 hours, though 24 would be best to check for crashes or stability.
Adjusted the BIOS settings to 300x10 and noticed it looks much better now.

A large collection of fins and a fairly medium-sized cooler are placed on top of it, directing air straight at the CPU.
