I have a simple question. I just got a new M.2 drive and plan to mount Windows on it. Right now, I'm using a HDD that stays in the system. I have a boot USB with a Windows 10 installer from over a year ago. Can I still get updates from the hard drive during or after the installation? Or should I make a newer USB instead? My only internet comes from my phone, so I want to use something that uses less data. I also understand cloning but it's confusing when dealing with different-sized drives.
