The second image contains just 4 wires. For gigabit, 8 wires are required. The first image also lacks one wire. I only note 7 of the 8 present.

It might seem a bit unclear from the photos, but I'm sure there are 8 wires. The cables I purchased were Goobay.

They mentioned it would be different without the 8 wires, and the Gigabit option wouldn't exist. This is from the original post.

To OP... @demon667, consider using alternative cables. If the problem continues, examine the settings on your switch and router. It could be related to improper installation of the cable.
