The second image contains just 4 wires. For gigabit, 8 wires are required. The first image also lacks one wire. I only note 7 of the 8 present.

To OP... @demon667, consider using alternative cables. If the problem continues, examine the settings on your switch and router. It could be related to improper installation of the cable.
