Hello, yes you can use the same Windows 7 Professional CD for your friend’s PC. Since you’ve already activated it on your own machine, you can transfer the product key to his system and install Windows there. Just make sure he follows the activation steps correctly.

Yes, it's possible. The CD is linked only to the Windows version, so ensure your friend has the corresponding code for that version included.

If your system runs Windows 7 Pro and someone else uses a different version like Windows 7 Standard, their software might not function properly.

His operating system is different, but it doesn’t necessarily prevent his product key from working with your Pro CD.

Your key won’t function with a Pro disc. Are you using Home Premium or Basic? It seems it’s likely the Premium edition.
