Hey, I have some questions I'm still trying to figure out. Right now my setup looks like this: Slots #1 & #2 use 2* Samsung 8GB 2800MHz 1R CL14-36 G.Skill, while Slots #3 & #4 are also 2* SK Hynix 8GB 2800MHz 1R CL14-36 G.Skill. I'm curious if changing things might affect performance or make the Infinity Fabric run more asynchronously. Specifically:

1. Would overclocking Slots #1 & #2 to around 2800 MHz CL12-34 (using the better Samsung DRAM) while keeping Slots #3 & #4 at their current settings help?
2. Should I push all slots up to 2400 MHz CL12-34?
3. Or try running the Infinity Fabric at 1800 MHz with the 2800 MHz DRAM still in place?

I have a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, MSI B550-A motherboard, G.Skill 32GB RAM at 3200MHz CL16-38, RX 6800 XT graphics (16GB, 2400MHz @990mV), and a BeQuiet System Power 9 700W PSU (672W at 12V rail). Thanks for taking the time!

The kits need to be placed at positions 1, 3 and another in slots 2 and 4. Your setup is limited by the memory controller and motherboard's capabilities with mixed RAM, so you'll have to make a choice. It's uncertain, but you can try it. You should be able to manage the IF:MEM connection. If not, it will disconnect after 3600mhz. Good luck!

It's actually just the same kit, but with various DRAM manufacturers. I'm confident about it.
