I was really frustrated when I noticed every race except Saiyans only had Kioken transformations. What about the Frieza race? Any updates on the sequel? I’m having a blast. By the way, this should be Super Saiyan God 2, right? Also, share your photos of your crew if they’re that awesome!
I chose the Buu race and expected around three transformation phases, but instead got a few basic Kaioken effects that changed my character's color from pink to a darker shade.
Three new DLC packs are coming to players: the first, released in March 2015, features GT Goku, GT Trunks, and GT Pan, along with 4 Time Patrol missions, 12 parallel quests, 15 special attacks, and 5 costumes. The second pack, scheduled for release later, will offer more customization options, super attacks, and additional Time Patrol content. The third set, also upcoming, includes Jaco the Galactic Patrolman and a Master Roshi costume collection. Why are you excited about this?
Dragonball Xenoverse is a decent title. I’m genuinely fond of the series, though this version has some questionable aspects, particularly around Saiyan characters and competitive play. The Super Saiyan/ASSJ/Super Vegeta variants feel poorly implemented because you can easily spam attacks with low energy drain. Combined with Kakarot’s presence, even basic ultimate moves can be overly affected by a single hit. The Death Ball mechanic is surprisingly effective—almost instant cooldown and trapping your character mid-air before another hit lands. A well-timed 100 Big Bang Kamehameha seems to pack the most power. Overall, the game needs significant adjustments, as Saiyan opponents in PvP aren’t always engaging. It’s nice to see genuine battles where skill matters more than spamming abilities.
The game currently holds over 200 hours and features 3 levels at 80s and 5 above level 50. It’s experiencing frequent issues with broken servers and constant downtime. Still, you can explore PQ and online battles. No training mode is available. I’d love to see player edits and more intense fights. For instance, removing capsules and Z souls would be great improvements. Adjusting time settings would also help. I accept the game is broken but disagree with your suggestions. Avoiding Death Ball is possible even with spam. Strong guard skills are effective, and many abilities can counter ultimate attacks. Whenever someone uses Death Ball, I’d counter with Symphonic Destruction to eliminate them. Spamming Super Vegeta 2 saiyans is straightforward online. Kamehameha is easy to bypass. Watching the top ranked player’s videos would be useful—they play without spamming or abusing ultimates. I’ve seen them win every race and similar challenges. Even I, neither Kami nor Piccolo, can’t be defeated with proper technique. Unlock more skills would be beneficial; stats are unclear, but having at least 6 stamina and 5 ki bars is ideal. Good luck on your journey!
Are you looking for a quick way to boost your character? Your current stats are limited, and you're stuck at 49. You need to progress past PQ 49 to unlock higher levels. It seems beating tougher challenges like the Frieza race helps, but you mentioned wasting points on low-damage abilities. Consider focusing on Attack strength if you have the opportunity, even with your current -4 attack gear.
You might want to try PQ 51 if you have it too. These are unlocked by collecting Time Chasm Shards and completing the extra story mode (Bardock/Broly Saga). Maybe I'm just not good at this! I'm actually testing a simple attack/strike super/health build and checking how far it goes. Have you faced any opponents in a match? I played against Great Ape Bardock in the World Tournament Stage during a ranked game and I was really lost.
Which species? I crafted something with Frieza. It's absolutely amazing.
