Discussing CPU overclocking during RAM speed optimization in BIOS.
Hello. My RAM is Corsair Vengeance 2666 with 2x8GB sticks. In my BIOS it says they only run at 2133 MHz. When I adjust the speed to what it claims, my Ryzen 5 1600X base clock increases from 3.6GHz to 3.9GHz, which causes my PC to crash because I don’t have liquid cooling to manage the temperature. Can I get my RAM to run at optimal speed without overclocking the CPU? I’m not very familiar with changing voltages.

I've attempted adjusting the docp settings and RAM speed to 2666, then manually lowering the CPU clock to its standard base, but checking the speeds in Windows shows it's still overclocked.
