Hi,
Many articles mentioned the ability to overclock H97 in summer 2015, but most suggested a microcode update from Intel was necessary. I'm curious—can we still overclock H97 using a 4770k now?

Most h97 boards won't be able to overclock at all, if any do the only option is to increase the maximum turbo multiplier. Therefore, achieving a full-speed overclock isn't feasible.
