You might have accidentally increased the tubo boost, causing the cores to only reach 4.2 instead of the expected 6700k. Check your settings and ensure everything is configured correctly.

Don't push turbo boost beyond its limit. After setting an overclock, it will take precedence over the original max speed. Return to BIOS and ensure the multiplier is greater than the turbo boost frequency.

That's what I expected, but when I run prim95 it caps at 4.2ghz. I left everything on auto because it's simpler that way, and I set the CPU frequency multiplier to 46 so it shows 4.6ghz. It works fine overall, just want more power.
