Hi Martin, I hope this helps. When you connect your USB gaming headset, Windows changes the audio source from your speakers to the headset. But once you remove it, you need to switch back manually. Is there a way to let Windows automatically restore the original sound when you disconnect the headset?

It will handle this automatically. The system won't produce noise for non-existent items.
