Hello, your new Arctic Freezer II 360 fits well with your Z690 Aorus Pro board and i7 12700k. For the CPU power connections, you should connect the 4-pin CPU power connector as usual. The extra 4-pin connector labeled "ATX_12V_2X2" next to the standard 8-pin is likely for additional power delivery or compatibility with specific components. It’s not strictly necessary unless your motherboard requires it for certain features, but it’s generally optional.

I would connect it to the CPU_PUMP. My TUF z690 also includes this extra 4-pin CPU power connector, so you didn’t need to add another cable. Your setup should work just fine without it.

It's interesting to explore this choice. Using a pump instead of a fan often depends on the specific needs of the situation. Pumps can move larger volumes of air or water more efficiently, which is useful for high-pressure tasks. Fans are better for lower pressure and general ventilation. The difference comes down to what you're trying to achieve—whether it's strong suction or steady airflow.

It's typical to have the CPU_FAN linked. The board might report it's not connected or show low fan error. For the cooler, it doesn't affect performance as long as you set the curve and temp_source to match the CPU. You can then connect it to a case fan header if desired.

I'll add it to the CPU_Fan section.

It shouldn't really impact anything since all three fans and the pump share that one cable. I've used this setup in my CPU Fan for a long time.

Great! Thanks! It's a plus having just two cables needed. That sounds convenient.
