You're considering using an Ubiquiti Access Point for improved WiFi coverage. Since your home has thick walls and poor signal, you might want to check if a Network Switch is needed or if it can connect directly to your ISP modem. You already know you need a POE injector—just let me know if you'd like help finding one.

Just link a cable from the router/switch you wish to connect to, insert it into the LAN side of the POE injector, and attach another cable to the POE port before connecting it to the access point.

For managing the AP, you’ll need a host for the UniFi Controller or the phone app. Detailed steps are included in the box with the AP.
