I want an NVME SSD for my laptop for school. It has a hard drive and I'm sick of it. I know for sure it has an NVME slot, but I'm worried about the windows product key. Unlike every other computer I've owned, there is no product key on the computer itself. Nothing came in the box. You can't just lift it from the system information window anymore, so I'm just wondering how this will work. Will I install Windows on the NVME with the hard drive plugged in an will Windows understand what I'm trying to do? Or what? I'm not really sure.
