I purchased the 6600 XT about a month ago (due to limited options) because nothing else was available. It’s performed well at 1080p with 144fps. I’m curious if I can get more out of it before it wears out.
What type of storage device are you employing? If you're not utilizing an SSD, that represents an additional small enhancement expense that can significantly boost system performance even during typical operations I've observed.
SSDs are being utilized with an NVMe connection as the main storage, plus an extra 4TB for games and documents.
If you're looking for something new, just go for it. I began with a 3600XT since I wasn't able to find a 5600X. But once I got a 5600X, I was really excited. It's an excellent CPU—its performance is outstanding, even without considering the IPC improvements. I chose a 5900X because I couldn't secure a GPU, and I needed something at 5GHz or higher since I was home and bored. You won't be let down.
