I don't agree with that. The chipset works only with 6th generation CPUs, and 7th with a BIOS flash—actually, that's a 9th generation CPU.

Your current i3-6100 works well, but you might consider upgrading to a more powerful CPU like an i5 or i7 with quad cores for better performance.

You might consider a used i7 6700 or i7 7700. The H110 chipset isn't very common these days.
