Discuss video and audio editing communities and DTS conversion for Premiere Pro
Hey there! It's true we're missing a video and audio editing section yet. Would love to see that added soon. I'm working with an AVC video and DTS audio (6 channels, 1.510 Kbps) inside a MKV file. I can convert it to an M4V package for Premiere Pro, but since the software doesn't support DTS imports directly, I'm curious if anyone has suggestions. I've checked common formats like AAC and AC3, but I'm unsure how to handle DTS without losing quality or channels. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead.
It's confusing to notice that the "HARDWARE" part focuses mainly on cameras and audio devices like speakers and microphones. What you were looking for was a section covering broader editing tasks such as rendering, modifying, cutting, mixing, muxing, and animation. I'll check if FLAC addresses this issue.
Convert the DTS file into six individual mono WAV files, then adjust them using PP, and finally remaster them back into a DTS format.
