You're adjusting PBO settings for your Ryzen 7 7700 with a Gigabyte B650M DS3H motherboard. You're trying to set the power delivery to 75W but can't auto-set TDC and EDC. Someone can help determine the right values for this configuration.

You're looking to lower the voltage even more. Adjusting the curve to negative 30 should suffice. This model is a 65W chip, so it already consumes relatively little power. The X version draws about 105W.

Adjusting just the curve didn't lower my temperatures at all, unfortunately.

The process of optimizing curves impacts the CPU more than the 65W components. We haven't discussed this before. Your temps are fine, staying well under safe levels. The Ryzen 7000 models tend to get warm regardless of settings. Why are you aiming for even cooler temps?

Consider swapping your Ryzen 7000 series for another CPU. It tends to overheat by nature. You might attempt undervolting and curve tuning, but eventually you'll reach a point where further reductions won't make a difference. Have you seen any of the videos I mentioned yesterday?

I haven’t had a chance to work on anything since yesterday. I’m thinking about lowering the voltage but don’t know the right TDC and EDC settings. I want to reach that limit before figuring out what to do with the CPU.

Please view those videos. I’ve attempted to clarify and demonstrate how these CPUs function and their design. Good luck!

You're still interested in guidance on what to include in TDC and EDC values.

Have you ever wondered why the system fails because of your interference? I understand life can be tough, but some things aren't supposed to be messed with. Sorry about that. Stay safe and have a good day.
