I just discovered yesterday that there are new AMD APUs and I was especially curious about the 4650G. I wasn’t able to find it for sale anywhere online except on eBay, like this link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Tray-AMD-Ry...890.l49292. Is this genuine? It comes from China, so I’m not sure if it’s safe to buy.
These have existed for quite some time. You can find some YouTube clips demonstrating them, though I can't access them due to the school's website restrictions.
It's genuine but only an OEM version available now, sold through a few Asian stores. It doesn't justify the $350 price since you can usually find a better GPU for that cost. Just in case, the CPU inside is still a Zen 2 chip, so a 2600 offers essentially the same performance as the one used in APUs.
No images of the item were found, which is a big warning sign. Probably a fraudulent scheme. (And it seems to be quite expensive) The latest APUs from AMD are launching on ZEN 3—uncertain if they’re OEM-only.
