Did listeners hear from use HyperX Fury at the same rate or just HyperX Fury without speed details? Cuz HyperX Fury is just a brand name, not about the stick's performance. Try testing 1.4V memory voltage first. If that fails, adjust timings to 16-22-22-42.
hi. they use the exact ram that i have. it was left by reviewers on the site. everyone had 3000 or higher mhz no problem and they reccomended it. ok nice, i couldnt figure out how to change the voltages tho. because it was greyed out in the bios. and which timings? theres like 20 different things to choose from what i could see. im a total noob in this department tho
Suggesting it's not a given, but that option is limited. It seems the greyed-out area isn't the right spot unless you're using the wrong board for overclocking (like a Z chipset board). It would help to check the BIOS screen since I'm unsure about the specific board. For timing details, I'm using CAS-RCD-RP-RAS.
I don't have a specific model number for your memory. Could you provide more details about it?
This document outlines key details about a specific product or service. It provides information relevant to understanding its features and specifications.
Only two sticks needed—each 8GB, totaling 16GB. Confirm they fit into slots A2 and B2. If relocation is necessary, erase the CMOS afterward. The board quality is average; clock speeds seem too slow for its frequency range, and the CPU memory controller might struggle with these timings. Consider using TaiphoonBurner to inspect sub-timings and adjust BIOS settings if automatic isn't sufficient. Set Vcore to 1.150V and verify it matches the system agent voltage (around 1.15–1.25V). Aim for around 1.30V initially, but avoid exceeding 1.35V. Don’t generate extra heat, but start at 2667MHz and tweak gradually. Manual configuration is essential for stability.
Okey, thanks for the helpful advice, unfortunately i dont rly get it, understandable if you cant be arsed explaining all of that and how to change it as i couldnt even figure out how to access the Vccio setting on my motherboard and, i found the timing settings but there are so many different ones i wouldnt know how to change them safely
