You'd still rely on the Nexus platform for acquiring mods—it serves as a more popular alternative to Nexus Mod Manager. The main advantage is that mods aren't installed directly into your Skyrim files; they come bundled with loot, and you can easily add other tools like Wyrebash, Tesvedit, Boss, FNIS, or even save cleaner/editor for convenience. Turning mods on or off has become significantly simpler and safer with MO compared to NMM (or when I last used it). Multiple profiles help track which mods each character uses, though it's likely NMM now supports this feature as well Smile For reference, you can watch a video here: [link]. Gopher is another option, but I think beginners should exercise extra caution with it for Skyrim modding, just like I would warn others.
